When you're not familiar with something new, you may have several questions. I'm happy to give you answers before or during our session. If you'd like to read about these ahead of time, here are answers to some of the popular questions I receive. 

How do I know which option is best for me?

Choosing between a Body Code or an Emotion Code session depends on your unique needs, symptoms, and goals for emotional or energetic support.

As a general guide:

  • If you're seeking quick relief from emotional stress or feeling weighed down by unresolved feelings, The Emotion Code may be a great place to start.

  •  If you're looking for a more comprehensive, long-term approach that explores both emotional and physical imbalances, The Body Code may offer deeper insight.

Not sure which to choose? No problem, your subconscious already knows. We can use muscle testing during your session to help identify the most aligned starting point.

Why is the investment for Body Code larger than for Emotion Code?

During an Emotion Code session, we are simply addressing and releasing specific trapped emotions that may be causing physical and emotional distress. The idea is that these trapped emotions are energy blockages that can disrupt the body's natural flow, leading to various ailments. The Emotion Code is a more targeted approach, dealing specifically with emotional energy imbalances. The Body Code is a more in depth and more comprehensive system that includes everything covered in The Emotion Code but goes beyond it.

During a Body Code session we will address a wider range of imbalances, including structural, nutritional, energetic, toxic, and pathogenic issues. The Body Code system is designed to identify and correct these imbalances, aiming to restore the body's overall well-being. The Body Code system uses a detailed, computerized mind map that guides me through various categories of imbalances to identify the root causes of issues. The Body Code also requires more training and understanding, as it covers a wider range of potential imbalances in the body. 

What is muscle testing?

Muscle testing, also known as applied kinesiology, is a technique used to assess the body's subconscious response to various stimuli, such as emotions, illness, foods, supplements, or statements. The idea behind muscle testing is that the body's muscles will respond differently when exposed to positive or negative stimuli(ie, yes, no questions). A muscle will remain strong when exposed to something beneficial or true, and it will weaken when exposed to something harmful or false.

Benefits of muscle testing

Muscle testing is a non-invasive method that doesn't require any instruments or medical procedures. It relies solely on the body's subconscious natural responses.  It provides insights into the physical, emotional, and energetic state of the body, offering a holistic approach to health and well-being.  Muscle testing can help tailor treatments and interventions to the individual's specific needs, whether it's identifying beneficial supplements, foods, or emotional issues that need addressing. The technique offers immediate feedback, allowing for real-time adjustments in treatment plans or lifestyle choices.  By revealing how the body responds to various stimuli, muscle testing can empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

How the subconscious mind responds to muscle testing

It’s all about the body-mind connection! The subconscious mind controls many of the body's automatic functions. The subconscious holds vast amounts of information about our physical and emotional states. Think of it like the body’s computer database that stores every experience you’ve been through.  The theory is that every thought, emotion, and substance interacts with the body's energy field, therefore it interacts and is then stored in the subconscious mind. Positive or neutral interactions strengthen the energy field, while negative or stressful interactions weaken it.  When a stimulus aligns with the body's well-being, the energy field remains strong, and the muscle maintains its strength. When a stimulus is harmful or stressful, it disrupts the energy field, leading to a temporary weakening of the muscle.  Muscle testing is a simple yet powerful technique that taps into the body's innate wisdom to provide insights into physical, emotional, and energetic health. When used correctly, it can be a valuable tool for personalized health and well-being.

Can you help my pet with The Emotion Code and The Body Code?

Yes! Animals can benefit greatly from The Emotion Code and The Body Code.  I see amazing results when working with animals! Many times you can see an almost immediate change in the animals behavior during an Emotion Code Session. Working with animals is part of the Emotion Code and Body Code certification process, and I am requirement to work with a minimum amount of animals. I also use The Emotion Code and The Body Code weekly for my own fur baby, who can be quite anxious and nervous. The Emotion Code works magically by calming my dog, especially during thunderstorms!

Benefits of using The Emotion Code and The Body Code for pets

Releasing trapped emotions, The ​Emotion code can improve behavior and can lead to a calmer, more balanced pet, reducing anxiety, aggression, or other behavioral issues. It can also enhanced physical health by addressing energy imbalances.  This can help alleviate physical symptoms, such as pain, digestive issues, or chronic conditions​​​.  The Emotion Code and The Body Code provide a non-invasive, holistic approach to care, complementing traditional veterinary treatments.

What is The Body Code?

The Body Code is a holistic approach that uses muscle testing to help identify and release energetic imbalances in the body. This technique focuses on six general areas: emotional, energetic, nutritional, structural, toxicity, and possible influences from pathogens. Through this method, we work with the body’s own wisdom to help bring awareness to what may be contributing to a sense of imbalance or discomfort. Sessions are non-invasive and are designed to support the body's natural ability to rebalance and self-regulate. While The Body Code is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care, many clients find that addressing energetic patterns in this way contributes to a greater sense of emotional clarity, relaxation, and overall well-being.

Clients often report feeling “lighter,” more grounded, or more aligned after a session. Every experience is unique, and outcomes may vary.

What is The Emotion Code?

The Emotion Code is a gentle, energy-based technique designed to help identify and release what are believed to be unresolved emotional energies, often referred to as "trapped emotions." These sessions involve the use of muscle testing to communicate with the body’s subconscious and bring awareness to patterns that may be contributing to emotional or physical stress.

The Emotion Code does not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions and is not a replacement for professional medical or psychological care. Rather, it is intended as a complementary wellness approach that supports emotional balance and relaxation.Many clients report feeling lighter, more at peace, or more emotionally open after sessions. Each experience is unique, and individual results may vary.

How The Emotion Code work

​​​​​The Emotion Code works by identifying trapped emotions by muscle testing. Muscle testing is a method used to communicate with the subconscious mind, which knows about the body's hidden imbalances. During your session I ask yes and no questions and observe the muscle response to identify specific trapped emotions. I use my body as a vessel when doing online session. Once the emotion is identified it is released by using a magnet, hand, or other tool (I like to use a Selenite wand), by swiping along the governing meridian (a central energy pathway) a few times. This helps to release the trapped emotional energy from the body.

The Emotion Code has numerous benefits!  It helps to release emotional baggage, reducing feelings of anxiety, depression, and other emotional stress. It helps support your physical health by releasing trapped emotions, physical ailments such as pain and discomfort may improve. Over all The Emotion Code increases well-being!  It promotes mental and emotional balance.  Below are some examples of every day uses for The Emotion Code

  • Physical Ailments, it addresses physical issues that might have an emotional root, like chronic pain or fatigue.

What can I expect in an Emotion Code or Body Code session?

An Emotion Code or Body Code session is designed to identify and correct imbalances in the body that may be causing physical, emotional, or energetic issues. Here’s what you can typically expect during a session:

Before the session, just RELAX!  It's important to be relaxed and open to the process.

 

During the session we will have a brief initial discussion to discuss any specific concerns or goals you have and I will also explain the process, if you’re new to The Emotion Code or The Body Code. I then take a moment of silence to connect to your energy field. I will use my body as a vessel to muscle test to communicate with your subconscious mind. This method can be done directly on you in-person or via proxy online, phone or email.

 

Muscle testing involves asking yes and no questions and observing the strength of a muscle response to identify imbalances. I use muscle testing and may also use charts and guides to pinpoint the specific issues. Once an imbalance is identified, I will use intention while swiping over my governing meridian with a magnet and selenite wand to release the stuck or trapped energy from your body. Throughout the session, I will explain what I am finding and how I will address it. I will also be taking notes and will share with you via email after the session. I also like to check in and ask for feedback on how you are feeling as the session progresses. We also want to respect the process and your body!

What Can I expect AFTER my Emotion Code or Body Code session?

After your session, I’ll take time to answer any questions you may have about what was explored or released during the process. Based on your individual experience, I may offer suggestions for follow-up sessions or wellness-based lifestyle practices that may support your ongoing journey.  Clients sometimes report feeling lighter, more at ease, or emotionally clear after a session. It’s also possible to feel tired, more emotional, or notice shifts in energy as your body and mind process the changes. These responses are natural when working with energetic patterns. If emotions come up, allow yourself space to feel and release them. This can be a meaningful part of the integration process.

Bringing your body back to its natural healthy state is a personal journey and may continue in the days or weeks following a session. Here are a few supportive practices to consider:

  • Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water before and after sessions can help support your body’s natural balancing processes. Lemon water is a gentle option for many.

  • Rest & Reflect: Give yourself permission to rest or journal if needed. Energy work can bring insight or emotions to the surface.

  •  Stay Open: Each session is unique. An open mind and gentle self-compassion can go a long way in supporting your growth.

  • Ongoing Work: Sometimes deeper patterns unfold over time. You may be guided to explore additional sessions to continue the process, if and when it feels right for you.

What is a Heart-Wall?

​In The Emotion Code, a Heart-Wall is a concept introduced by Dr. Bradley Nelson. It refers to a protective barrier of trapped emotions that the subconscious mind creates around the heart to shield it from emotional pain or trauma. While this barrier can serve a protective function, it can also have negative consequences for emotional and physical well-being. Most people have anywhere between five and 25 trapped Heart-Wall emotions and it may take three to four sessions to fully release your Heart-Wall.  I like to listen to your body at Life Force Healing and let the process unfold naturally and in your own time.

What are some “symptoms” of having a Heart-Wall?

​​​The Heart-Wall can numb emotions, making it difficult to fully experience love, joy, and other positive feelings.  It can lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection from others, affecting relationships and social interactions.  Trapped emotions in the Heart-Wall can contribute to physical symptoms such as chest pain, heart palpitations, and other heart-related issues.  The Heart-Wall can block a person from achieving success in various areas of life, such as career, relationships, and personal growth, by creating emotional barriers.  

Benefits of releasing the Heart-Wall

​​​Removing the Heart-Wall can lead to a greater capacity to experience and express emotions, enhancing emotional well-being.  With the Heart-Wall gone, individuals often find it easier to connect with others, fostering deeper and more fulfilling relationships.  Releasing trapped emotions can alleviate physical symptoms associated with the Heart-Wall, promoting better overall health.  People often report feeling lighter, more open, and more capable of achieving their goals and dreams after the Heart-Wall is removed.

What is the difference between The Emotion Code and The Body Code?

The Emotion Code focuses primarily on releasing trapped emotions or emotional energy, while The Body Code is a more comprehensive system that addresses a wider range of imbalances, including structural, nutritional, energetic, and pathogenic factors. I find it very important to emphasizes the connection between emotional health and physical health, aiming to provide a holistic approach to supporting your body's natural ability to restore to balance. 

 

It is believed that 80% of the imbalance or dis-ease we suffer from are emotional in nature ( and may manifest as physical issues and symptoms).

 

While The Emotion Code addresses specific emotional energy,  the scope of The Body Code addresses six different main types of imbalances:

  1. Energy Imbalances - emotional and/or post-trauma energies, mental and offensive energies

  2. Circuit or System Imbalances - organs, glands, chakras, disconnections, meridians

  3. Toxin Imbalances - heavy metals, free radicals, EM spectrum, chemicals, microbial imbalances

  4. Circuitry Imbalances - organs, glands, chakras, disconnections, meridians

  5. Pathogen Imbalances - parasites, fungal, bacterial, viral, and mold

  6. Misalignment Imbalances - bones, nerves, muscles, connective tissue, organs and glands

  7. Nutrition or Lifestyle Imbalances- Ph imbalance, foods, herbs, nutrients, dehydration, and magnetic field imbalances

 

The Body Code can help us to find imbalances (whether or not there are symptoms) so you can release them and their potential effects!

Does distance energy healing work as effectively as in-person sessions?

Yes! Distance sessions can be just as effective as in-person sessions.

At Life Force Healing, I offer remote sessions using The Emotion Code and The Body Code techniques. These sessions are grounded in the principle that energy is not limited by time or space.  A concept supported by emerging research in quantum physics and fields like biofield science. Studies have explored how intention, consciousness, and focused awareness can influence subtle energies and physiological responses, even across distances.

While this work is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care, many clients have reported that distance sessions offer meaningful support, clarity, and emotional relief. Techniques like muscle testing and energy balancing are used with a focused intention to communicate with the body’s energy field, an approach some research suggests may engage the body’s natural ability to regulate and rebalance.

How often can I have a session or how often will I need to have sessions?

The frequency of Emotion Code or Body Code sessions can vary depending on individual needs and circumstances. Here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:

  1. Initial Sessions: I’d recommend starting with a series of weekly sessions to address acute issues or to clear a significant amount of trapped emotions, negative energies or imbalances.

  2. Follow-up Sessions: After the initial period, sessions might be spaced out more, such as every week, two weeks or up to four weeks, to continue the body balancing process and address any new issues that arise.

  3. Maintenance: For ongoing maintenance and prevention, some people find that monthly or even quarterly sessions are sufficient.

  4. Personal Needs: The specific needs of the individual play a significant role. Some people may require more frequent sessions due to chronic issues or significant emotional trauma, while others may benefit from less frequent sessions.

Who created The Emotion Code and The Body Code?

The Emotion Code and The Body Code systems were created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a chiropractor and holistic health practitioner. Dr. Nelson developed these systems as methods to identify and release trapped emotions and other imbalances that may be affecting an individual's physical and emotional well-being.

Will I feel anything during or my session? What tips do you have?

During a Body Code or Emotion Code session, people often experience a range of sensations and responses. Below are a few examples of what you might feel during and after the session.

During the session you may experience an emotional release. Some people might cry as trapped emotions are identified and released, which can indicate a shift in emotional energy. Occasionally, a session may bring about laughter or a sense of joy. You might feel sensations such as lightness or warmth in your body as energetic patterns shift. Some individuals notice tingling or other physical sensations as the body processes changes.  You might also feel tired or fatigued following a session.  This is a common response as your system integrates the energetic work. Fluctuations in energy levels are also possible. Emotional responses may vary, from a sense of relief to new personal insights.  These experiences are part of the body's natural response to energetic balancing and may vary from person to person.

 

After the session many people feel a sense of relief or calm after a session, especially if trapped emotions have been released.  You might experience residual effects, such as a temporary increase in symptoms as your body adjusts.  Emotions and physical sensations might continue to shift over the following days as your body integrates the changes. Physical symptoms or discomforts might improve gradually.  You might gain new insights or clarity about your emotions or health issues after the session.

 

Tips for the session

  • Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before and after the session to help your body process the changes.

  • Rest and reflect. Allow yourself some time to rest and reflect on the experience, especially if you feel tired or emotionally stirred.

  • Communicate. Share any feelings or sensations with me during or after your session, as this can help me tailor the session to your needs.

Can energy therapy be used in conjunction with western medicine?

Absolutely! I am not a licensed healthcare practitioner, and The Emotion Code and The Body Code are not substitutes for medical or psychological care. These energy-based approaches are intended as complementary tools that may support your overall sense of well-being.

Energy work is not meant to replace medical treatment or interfere with care you may be receiving from qualified professionals. Some clients have reported that this type of work provides a supportive experience alongside their existing wellness practices.
